He designed the spectrometer and discovered the Nobel prize winning J-particle in 1974, developed the energy flow method and discovered the 3-jet phenomenon and the Gluons, the carriers of Nuclear forces in 1979, and has pioneered the field of reverse Cherenkov Radiation (RCR) in left-handed material since 2003.
