Curriculum Standards for Guiding Masterpieces in the Writing Department: Hometown Sentiment Reading and Writing Integrated

The Department of Chinese Composition Teaching emphasizes the guidance of classic literature and promotes writing through reading, effectively implementing the requirements of the "Chinese Language Curriculum Standards" to "attach importance to the connection between writing teaching and reading teaching, and be good at organically combining reading and writing, speaking and writing", providing favorable conditions and broad space for students' independent writing. I will take the first unit of the ninth semester, "Dreaming of Hometown Language," as an example to explore how to use the textbooks of major departments to guide students' essay learning.

This unit's textbook consists of content such as "This Situation and This Scene", "Discovering Masterpieces", "Discovering Sensory Abilities", "Discovering Cognitive Strategies", "Discovering Writing Intelligence", "Perceived Strength Field", "Cognitive Strategy Field", "Outstanding Companions", "Textbook Companions", and "Literary Enhancement". It also combines Yu Qiuyu's "Night Voyage Ship" and the first unit of the People's Education Press, which focuses on "Land", to guide students to develop the ability to perceive in detail, diverge around the center, describe the scene, and engage in multi-party argumentation.

Based on the textbook content and the composition study in this unit, it is hoped that students will learn to diverge around the center and engage in logical associative narration. Learn to perceive in detail and focus on details to describe scenes.

As a school for migrant workers, our school has a considerable number of students from other places. The theme of "Dreaming of Hometown Language" is very easy to resonate with students' emotions, allowing them to write sincere and touching articles from the bottom of their hearts. I had the students review the first unit of the ninth lesson before class and find the author's emotional carrier. Read Yu Qiuyu's "Night Sailing Ship" and experience how his thoughts and emotions are expressed through night sailing ships.

I used emotional resonance to introduce it, because I have been in Jinan for nearly 20 years, and to this day, I have spent more than half of my life here, but still jokingly call myself a stranger. Growing up in a coal mine, going out for a trip to wear white clothes stained with black dust. I love the gray sky of the mining area, the face full of coal slag and difficult to distinguish faces of my parents at the wellhead, and the green and lively wheat fields next to the mining area. I will always be the daughter of the coal mine in my life. A journey of mountains, a journey of water, walking towards the bank of Yuguan, with a thousand tents of lanterns in the deep night. The wind and snow change, shattering the dreams of the hometown, and there is no such sound in the old garden. Nalan Xingde's dreamy rural language is so captivating that it breaks one's heart. The hometown in the dream, the distant time, so constantly giving up, makes people greedy. This kind of complex always inadvertently ferments rural love, turns memories back to life, and lingers in the heart forever. I encourage students to first find connections between objects and emotions, and feel their nostalgia for their homeland.

Yu Qiuyu's "Night Voyage Ship" is written as follows: "On my bookshelf, there is a Ming Dynasty writer Zhang Dai's" Night Voyage Ship "... Night Voyage Ship has always been a symbol of the arduous journey of the water towns in southern China. My hometown, Changling, is clustered and very closed, but there is a river quietly flowing through. Every night, I can always hear the sound of a deep and solemn voice coming from the river bank. This is the arrival of the night voyage ship..." Let students think about why Yu Qiuyu thought of his hometown? Why did you think of night sailing again? It is natural for students to learn associative narration from it.

Lenovo is "the idea of someone or something recalling other related people or things, and one concept recalling other concepts." This is also a typical form of divergent thinking, and "The Street Market in Heaven" uses this writing style. For example, from the white towel in front of me to the black towel that my father who works underground can no longer wash, this is association. Ask students to write a fragment that associates something they have seen with something in their hometown, without being greedy for length, just a few clear sentences are enough.

Let's take a look at the deep impression that Yu Qiuyu's hometown night boat has left on him. The boatman, no matter how tired he is, always straightenes his waist and puts on a victorious posture when carrying the oars into the village. He lowers the oars, washes his face hastily, and then starts drinking. The lights are bright, and he doesn't close the door, allowing the light to illuminate the whole village... After pouring a few cups, he starts to speak, talking about the elegance and wealth of the sailors on this voyage

This is a scene description, which is a depiction of the characters' activities in a certain time and space. It can immerse people in the scene, break the dry and straightforward narration, and make your article shine brightly. For example, when we come out of the cinema, what we can't forget is always a certain scene. In scene description, environmental description, character description, and detail description are all complementary, ultimately making the article leave a deep impression on people and allowing students to outline the impressive details while reading the article. The details such as "keeping his waist straight" and "bright lights, not closing the door" depict the triumphant attitude and heroic spirit of the returning boatman, making this character as he is now. Let students carry their own hometown scenery, recall memorable and unforgettable scenes, and finally add the scene description to the just written paragraph to enrich the essay.

The first unit of the ninth installment focuses on the theme of "land" and portrays the authors' deep love for their homeland during a special era, which is touching. Encourage students to identify emotional carriers and grasp the details of the situation in their future writing, so that the article can bloom in their hands, fragrant and intoxicating.
