Research on Pre teaching Content and Classroom Effectiveness

When it comes to composition, students often feel pain and teachers feel troubled. The teacher's guidance has been arduous, from topic selection to the beginning and end, but the students' compositions are still disorganized, with dry and tasteless language, like a stagnant pool of water, lacking vitality. I think this is because traditional composition teaching is far away from students' lives, imprisons their personalities, and ignores the humanistic aspect of composition teaching. Emphasizing pre writing preparation, also known as "pre writing", is a shortcut to arouse students' interest in writing, enhance their confidence in writing, and improve the efficiency and quality of writing.
The Chinese Language Curriculum Standards propose cultivating students' self-learning ability as an important goal. Cultivating students' habit of pre class preparation is an important aspect that cannot be ignored in achieving this goal. It plays a crucial role in helping students learn to master new knowledge and develop good study habits.
Obviously, in reading teaching, previewing has become an indispensable teaching routine, and its role is self-evident. However, from the current reality, pre writing preparation is often overlooked. I believe that in composition training, it is also important to pay attention to the routine of pre writing. As Ye Shengtao said, "To write an article that looks good, you should put in more effort before taking up the pen." In my own composition teaching, I have continuously explored and practiced the routine of pre writing, gradually forming a set of "three-step pre writing" methods, namely: pre "heating", pre "knowing", and pre "speaking" - through pre "heating", clarify the requirements of pre writing, and stimulate students' interest; Conduct pre knowledge, allowing students to experience life firsthand and enrich their understanding; Accumulate writing language and knowledge through pre speaking.
1、 Pre writing "hot" - stimulate interest, clarify requirements
Interest is the best teacher. Pre writing activities can stimulate students' enthusiasm for writing, ignite their interest in writing, and reignite their hidden passion for writing.
A good work must be actively participated in by students' emotions, and an essay without emotions is inevitably dull and boring. Because without emotional drive, students' internal vocabulary can only remain silent forever. Only when students enter an activated state can the ocean of emotions have magnificent waves and make their internal language highly active. To achieve this state, an effective pre heating preparation is essential.
As Sukhomlinsky once said, "A teacher cannot ignore the emotional life of students, because it is the source of initiative and creativity in learning." Students gain deep emotional experiences and accumulation through their interests in pre writing, and when they encounter topics in this area in future writing and training, they will inevitably become emotional and speak out. The rich and dormant life accumulation in the activated brain will turn into emotional language, which will erupt like a volcano involuntarily. The combination of emotions and language is like a seed of desire encountering nectar, it will inevitably have "something to say, something to say; something to write, something to write", and the essay written in this state will inevitably be a masterpiece.
It can be seen that the pre heating of writing can stimulate students' interest in writing, make writing close to life, and make writing full of vitality.
2、 Pre knowledge of composition - firsthand experience, enriching understanding
If students' interest in writing assignments is the first step in writing excellent works, then pre knowledge of assignments is the crucial second step. The so-called 'seeing is better than seeing', pre knowledge in writing is to allow students to see and experience with their own eyes, enriching their emotional understanding.
The traditional teaching method of composition training is: a composition teaching is divided into two class hours, requiring students to complete it in the classroom within 80 minutes. This includes several steps from teacher guidance, student drafting and editing, information feedback to transcription, etc. It is obviously difficult for most students to write a good essay in such a short time. Since ancient times, there have not been many geniuses who have achieved "seven steps to poetry", let alone ordinary elementary school students we are facing. Therefore, breaking the practice of "one composition teaching divided into two class hours", purposefully doing some pre work before class, allowing students' rich and colorful extracurricular life to enter composition while the composition leaves the classroom, enters society, and enters students' lives. Just like Mao Zedong's wise saying: "To know the taste of a pear, you must taste it with your own mouth. So, in order for students to write excellent essays, it is necessary to let them experience it firsthand, to let them go to the scene to "feel" and "know". Only empty talk in the classroom cannot "know the taste of pears". If students walk into the scene, observe with their own eyes, act with their own hands, speak with their own mouths, listen with their own ears, create opportunities for students to have a sensory understanding of the real world, enrich their experiences, and broaden their horizons, then the essays written on this basis will be flesh and blood, truly touching.
Before teaching the composition of 'My Manga Teacher', I obtained the support of my art teacher and arranged an art class where I used colorful pens to depict my favorite teacher. Require students to use a paintbrush to capture the characteristics of the teacher, and to take notes and point comments from the picture. In the process of drawing and writing, students see the teacher's appearance and demeanor, so in the writing class, students naturally bring the teacher's characteristics to the composition book. one
For example, before a writing class targeting parents, I asked students to bring notebooks and use their weekends to join their parents' lives (including work, household chores, entertainment, socializing, etc.), fully experiencing their parents' real lives.
After students have personally experienced life and enriched their understanding, why worry that they don't have writing materials?
3、 Pre writing "Words" - Accumulate Language, Reserve Knowledge
With the interest and material of writing, students also need rich and accurate language to express what they want to say. So, after anticipating "heat" and "knowledge", one also needs to anticipate "words". Before class, use the method of "searching, picking, rewarding, and reading" to help students accumulate language and accumulate a certain amount of knowledge, so as not to encounter situations where words fail to convey their intended meaning when writing.
Purposeful pre speaking creates momentum for expression, changing the pain of students' mind searching when writing and making writing a joyful thing.
Through the research and practice of composition teaching, we deeply feel that in order for teaching to keep up with the pace of the new curriculum reform, in addition to new teaching concepts as guidance, there must also be corresponding teaching methods and techniques. The organic combination of advanced concepts and effective methods is the only way to achieve the effect of both "looking up at the stars" and "being down-to-earth" in teaching. Reasonably developing and utilizing composition cards is like adding a pair of dynamic wings to composition teaching, giving vitality to the composition classroom, improving the efficiency of composition teaching, and significantly enhancing students' composition abilities. As the teacher who participated in the experiment said, 'Small cards have a big impact'; Writing cards - definitely worth having! "In short, for elementary school students, simple and interesting previews can stimulate their interest in writing, enrich their emotional understanding, reserve the language for writing, and transform" I want to write "into" I want to write ". In one sentence, grasp the routine of previewing, conform to the nature of elementary school students' "liveliness", let elementary school students' eyes "liven up", mouth "liven up", hands "liven up", brain "liven up", seek knowledge in "liveliness", and seek novelty in "liveliness", which is conducive to cultivating students' interest in independent composition, improving the efficiency of composition, reducing the burden of composition, and truly achieving the goal of "teaching for not teaching" as Mr. Ye Shengtao said.
