Abstract: Guided by the People’s Education Press junior high chemistry textbooks and against the backdrop of China’s national dual carbon strategy, this paper constructs an innovative teaching framework featuring "real-life scenario introduction – green experimental inquiry – interdisciplinary transfer – solution to social issues". Two original teaching cases including self-designed water purification equipment and miniature carbon neutrality experiments are designed to explore the application of chemical knowledge in environmental protection practices. Teaching practice data show that students in the experimental group improved their scientific inquiry ability by 28%, and the compliance rate of environmental awareness evaluation reached 95%. This research provides replicable localized cases for fulfilling core literacy objectives in junior high chemistry teaching.
